The Japan Research Institute, Limited (President is Yasuyuki Kimoto. Headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Hereafter called JRI) and the Tokyo Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the largest national bank in China (Branch Manager is Song Ning. Headquartered in Beijing. Hereafter called the Bank) have entered into a partnership agreement to establish a cooperative relationship in the field of consulting.

Under the partnership agreement, the Bank, which has good business connections with many Chinese firms in Japan, will introduce JRI to its customers seeking consultation in management strategy, business innovation, human resource management, information system upgrade, IPO for business expansion, and so forth. This will mean providing enhanced service to the Bank’s many customers, whose needs JRI will meet by offering them JRI’s unique solutions that will help Chinese firms solve the various problems they face in the Japanese market.

With the recent growth of the Chinese economy and the resulting foreign exchange holdings increase and trend toward business expansion, Chinese firms have started to invest in foreign countries in earnest.Especially, more and more Chinese firms are expected to enter Japan, setting their sights on market opportunities and advanced technologies.

JRI and the Bank share their opinions and approaches as expressed above and have found a suitable partner in each other. As a result, they have entered into the partnership agreement. This is the first consulting partnership between the Tokyo Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank, the largest Chinese national bank, and a Japanese think tank.
